Quick Answer
Choose the Snooz Revol Pad if you want a plush, orthopedic crate pad with CertiPUR-US® memory foam that fits your Revol crate. Choose the Bolstr Evolv Bed if you need a versatile, water-repellent bed with a bolstered headrest that fits your Evolv crate. Both are designed to work with specific Diggs crate systems, so match the pad to your crate first.
Fit: Revol vs Evolv Crate Compatibility
The Snooz Revol Pad is designed to fit perfectly with the Revol crate, and each Snooz size corresponds to the same Revol size. Note that Snooz cannot be used while the puppy divider is installed. The Bolstr Evolv Bed is designed to fit perfectly with the Evolv dog crate. If you own an Evolv crate, the Bolstr Evolv Bed is the direct match; if you own a Revol crate, the Snooz Revol Pad is the intended choice.
Materials and Comfort: Memory Foam vs Water-Repellent Fabric
The Snooz Revol Pad features premium CertiPUR-US® memory foam, offering orthopedic support and a soft, luxurious feel. The Bolstr Evolv Bed uses tough fabrics that resist scratching and chewing, with a water-repellent outer cover to protect against accidents. The Bolstr also includes a bolstered headrest for head and neck support. Your choice depends on whether you prioritize cushioning or durability and accident resistance.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Covers and Replacement Options
The Snooz Revol Pad has a washable outer layer, and you can buy a replacement Snooz Outer Cover separately in multiple sizes and colors. The Bolstr Evolv Bed also has a fully removable outer cover for easy cleaning, and a Bolstr Spare Outer Cover is available. Both options make it simple to keep your dog's bed fresh, but the Snooz offers more color choices for the cover.
Trade-Offs to Weigh
- Crate Compatibility: Snooz Revol Pad only fits the Revol crate and cannot be used with a puppy divider. Bolstr Evolv Bed only fits the Evolv crate. Match the pad to your crate model; they are not interchangeable.
- Comfort vs Durability: Snooz offers memory foam cushioning; Bolstr offers water-repellent, chew-resistant fabric with a headrest. Choose Snooz for orthopedic support, Bolstr for active or messy dogs.
- Cleaning and Replacement: Both have washable covers, but Snooz replacement covers come in multiple colors, while Bolstr spare covers are water-repellent. Snooz gives more style options; Bolstr gives more protection.
